I first saw these clocks 15 years ago at a small clock shop in Seattle – I own one now and use it both for my daily meditation as well as an alarm clock. Only recently did I discover a “grandfather clock” option, which. when activated, will ring the charm every hour, on the hour (cats aren’t too happy about that, though.)
A simple design with a “chime” reminiscent of a meditation bowl and a lovely addition to a meditation practice.
Available in various finishes from Now & Zen. B-Tone $109.95 and E-Tone $119.95.

Okay, so from a design-perspective, these little birds fall far short of the mark. But as a practicing Buddhist, I like that each of these birds represent a mindfulness activity (gratitude, compassion, etc.) that you randomly choose as your guide for the day.
