Weighing in at 19.4 lbs. (supporting 220 lbs. total, including 13 lbs. on the luggage rack), this bike folds up to a compact size in (apparently) 5 seconds. Groovy color selections, too. Check out this video; looks fairly easy to open up & ride.
From A&R. $799. Made in Taiwan by Strida (who lists a 5.2, 2-speed version on their site, but I don’t think it’s yet available in the U.S.)
An absolute must for your car. This safety tool is designed for car accidents; there’s a hammer to break the glass + a blade to slice a seat belt + a sharp point to puncture an airbag that won’t deflate. For total safety, I have two stashed in my car, one on the driver’s side and one on the front passenger’s side.
From Amazon. $14.95.
